Questions
Frequently asked
What's the legal tint limit in Ohio?
In Ohio, the front side windows must let in at least 50% of light, the back side windows and rear window can be any shade, and the windshield can only take a non-reflective film that lets in at least 70% of light. We’ll show you compliant shades and note them on your invoice.
Ceramic or carbon — which should I get?
Ceramic rejects more heat and is the best choice for comfort; carbon is a strong value option.
How long before I can roll my windows down?
Usually 3–5 days while the film cures.
Will tint bubble or turn purple?
Not with quality ceramic or carbon film installed properly. Cheap dyed film does.
Does it come with a warranty?
Yes. We install XPEL window film, which is covered by XPEL’s manufacturer warranty.
Can you remove old tint?
Yes, we remove old, bubbled or purple film before installing new.
